The "Migrating from Log4j 1.x" page
(http://logging.apache.org/log4j/2.x/manual/migration.html) says in step 3
under "Using the Log4j 1.x bridge":
3.They must not configure by calling the classes DomConfigurator or
PropertiesConfigurator
The classes lsited should be DOMConfigurator and PropertyConfigurator.
