(was: I am not much of a fan of the NDC but implemented the ThreadContext stack
so we could be compatible with Log4j 1.x. If the behavior of the context stack
isn't the same as the NDC then it should be changed. IOW - the fix should go in
to ThreadContext.pop to behave as 1.x does.)
