Anthony, thanks a lot for the analysis. I think it is great that we are taking
a look at improving AsyncAppender and the more ideas and options the better.
Can you attach your JMH tests and test results?
Quite impressive that MPSC queue has constant throughput with increasing
threads. Does it have the same caveats as the Conversant Disruptor? I remember
some of the code from Nitsan Wakart's blogs about his Queue experiments (which
I think eventually resulted in [JCTools|https://github.com/JCTools/JCTools])
and what I see in the Conversant Disruptor code reminds me of Nitsan's code.
Admittedly I have not looked in much detail.
