Hmm, I don't estimate the chances of a new Log4j release that includes
LOG4J2-1627 within 2 months to be very high. (Speaking for myself; the
community may think differently.) IMHO your best chances are with customizing
the shaded jar. The dat file should be included as is.
If changing the dat file format would be beneficial somehow then please raise a
separate Jira ticket for that.
