To not add any dependency an XML version is the best I got in mind at the 
moment. Tooling to generate it selecting packages can also work and avoid to 
create a new format. Today aggregation is already handled by external plugins 
(maven-shade-plugin.log4j2-cachefile-transformer) so can be transformed in a 
tooling issue too.
