As far as I know nobody knows to sign digital streams efficiently especially in the
presence of loss. In theory all communications channels are lossy and hence it is damn
difficult to write code that reliably provides non-repudiation for unbounded streams
(e.g. log output).
By encryption you probably mean encrypted tunneling, or? Regards, Ceki
