I have a question about object renderers
I have searched several log4j email lists, and they mention that object
renderers exist per appender.
however, i cant figure out if its actually been implemented. how do you
configure it through the xml configuration file?
i have used the <renderer renderedClass="someclass"
renderingClass="somerenderingclass"/> tag, but that
suggests to me that its not appender specific. and the dtd does not tell me
anything else.
i was thinking the appender would have an element like <renderer-ref ref
="blah">
