Hi, all.
I am trying to use SocketAppender and have a log4j server running and log4j client
uses SocketAppender to send a log to that server.
I noticed there is a SocketServer under org.apache.log4j.net and want to use them.
When I execute a command to start the SocketServer, it says port number 12345 (or any
other port number) is not available. (or log4j server is not running.. something like
that)
Could anyone who has experience in SocketServer or appender give me an advice?
I would really appreciate it and hopefully as I get more familier with log4j, I can
help others as well.
