I am using log4j 1.1.1, VisualAge 3.5.3 and the WebSphere Test Environment (WTE). Where should the log4j.properties file go to be picked up? I've tried a number of locations, including putting a directory containing the log4j.properties file on the CLASSPATH within the WTE (per the documentation on PropertyConfigurator - 'the path used to load classes').
As long as I'm at it, any idea on how to define log4j.debug within WTE?
