Can someone please explain the difference between NDC.clear and NDC.remove? The only help the javadocs give is that remove has something to do with making sure a thread can be gc'd. But in terms of semantics and what happens to the value(s) on the stack, is there a difference? The doc for clear doesn't say "for this thread" as the doc for remove does. Is that significant?
