This worked fine. I like it a bit better than the DailyRollingAppender in 
that it appends the date to the file name even before it is rolled over. Is 
this your own class you developed? If so, have you thought about submitting 
it to the Log4J team so it can be part of the Log4J product at some point in 
the future? It seems to me that this would be quite useful to others.
