hi there, i need a functionality similar to org.apache.log4j.net.SocketServer but that can understand and process .xml configuration files (i.e. configure with a DOMConfigurator).
i'm happy to amend the current implementation, and contribute the code under the same licensing terms, to do that if the .lcf file(s) it is expecting are not there --i.e. before configuring a default setup with a PropertyConfigurator try to locate an .xml configuration properties and if there is one use DOMConfigurator to configure. a. is there anybody else working on this? b. is it useful? c. would this work get included in the standard release?
