Is there a way to check the version of log4j.jar that has been installed on a machine without looking at the manifest.mf file? Are there any variables or methods available to access the version info from the jar through the classes? We have many servers installed with different versions of log4j and we want to know which ones to update and which ones not to. It will be a lot of help.
