I tried subscribing to the dev list but was told there was no mail box at [EMAIL PROTECTED] any thoughts? alan -----Original Message----- From: Scott Deboy [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, January 21, 2004 10:49 PM To: Log4J Users List Subject: RE: Chainsaw V2 message formatting. Glad you're finding it useful.. The log4j-dev list may be a better place for Chainsaw v2 conversations, since it's part of a not-yet-released version of Log4J (useable, but more features are planned prior to release), and I'd expect most log4j-user folks are interested in discussing issues related to official releases. As always, suggestions, comments, questions, and particularly patches, are all welcome! I've been playing with it today and it looks like a pretty nifty tool that repays the energies involved in CVSing and building the sourcecode. Where should I post feature requests? Is this list a reasonable place to start the conversation? I'd like to be able have the message in the event details section show xml in all its glory. Currently it's not showing the tags and all newLines and leading spaces on a new line are trimmed. I'm sending prettyPrinted xml to the log files for easy reading and I'd love to be able to view it in Chainsaw.
