Hi, I've searched all the mail lists without any success. Hopefully someone else has seen this problem and can identify a solution. I have an RMI application which has been in continual use for the last 2 years. A recent enhancement to the application was to add error logging using log4j. Since introducing this change the application has occasionally crashed with a Java Segmentation fault while garbage collection was being performed. This is using: Solaris 8 Java 1.3.1 Log4j 1.2.8 JMSQueueAppender (from the contrib directory) Has anyone seen this issue before and is there an identified solution before I remove all my log4j code from my application.
