Hi -

Is it possible to use windows system variables in a properties file? I have the 
following in my properties file and would like to use %COMPUTERNAME% to add more 
detail.

# define the email appender
log4j.appender.smtp=org.apache.log4j.net.SMTPAppender
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
log4j.appender.smtp.Subject=Fatal Error occurred on  %COMPUTERNAME%
log4j.appender.smtp.Threshold=Error
