Hi,

Even we are facing the same problem. I have two servers Tomcat 4 and OC4J on Windows
XP. It works fine on OC4J but on tomcat it just overwrites the previous day file. Even
RollingFileAppender is not working on Tomcat. This has become a big problem for us and
I have tried searching in the archives but the solutions provided hasn't helped.
Please advice.

Thanks,
Deepak.
