No, it doesn't.  

My suggestion would be to get the source and:

add logging statements to the various receivers you're using
add logging statements to ChainsawAppenderHandler

ChainsawAppenderHandler is the class in Chainsaw that collects events from the 
various configured receivers and routes the events to the appropriate tabs

Does chainsaw have a debug mode?  Specifically we'd like to watch as
