Checkout the Ganymede Plugin for Eclipse:
http://sourceforge.net/projects/ganymede/
Basically, you setup your appenders to use a SocketAppender and this
listens for logging messages and displays them, color coded, in a table.
Also allows you to filter the messages, etc.
