Hi Ceki,

Is it possible for my main application to use slf4j and my test cases to use
log4j directly? If so, do I need both log4j.jar (either 1.2 or 1.3) and
slf4j-log4j.jar in my classpath?

Thanks

Rakesh

Rakesh,

You should give the new slf4j-log4j binding a try. You can download it from

  http://www.slf4j.org

It provides the parameterized logging functionality that you mentioned you
wanted. It works with vanilla log4j 1.2.x or 1.3.x. If your priority is
performance, then try NLOG4J.

I hope this helps,
