Now, it works fine.

Thanks,

latest Chainsaw distributions should have this fixed now, you'll need to follow these instructions:

http://logging.apache.org/log4j/docs/chainsaw.html#VFSNotes

And add your JMS vendor jars to the .chainsaw/plugins directory.

cheers,

Paul

Are you specifying a JMSReceiver in your chainsaw config? We need to make a small change to the JNLP file before you can use JMSReceiver with the Web Start version of Chainsaw.

Users will need to place both the log4j-jms.jar as well as jms.jar in the plugins directory to get JMSreceiver to work - the same steps they need to perform to get VFS support in Chainsaw.

If you don't have a JMSReceiver in your chainsaw config, clear the application cache in the Java control panel and re-launch Chainsaw.

We (the Chainsaw committers) will send a msg to the list when this is fixed.

Hi Scott,

I tried that too, but it doesn't work.
Can you suggest me another solution, please?

You should be able to add the jar to the $user.dir/.chainsaw/ plugins directory

jms.jar is a download from Sun. You won't find it in the chainsaw
distribution. However, I'm not sure the best place for it? Scott, should
it go in the chainsaw plugins directory or JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/ext?

Hi all,

I'm using the "Java Web Start" version of Chainsaw.

I tried to add the jms.jar file in my system classpath, but it doesn't work. Then I checked the jar libraries linked in the "chainsawWebStart.jnlp"
file and I noted the jms.jar file link is missing.
Moreover jms.jar file is also missing in the
"http://logging.apache.org/log4j/docs/webstart/chainsaw/lib/"; site.
How can I solve the problem?

Thanks in advance.
