Hallo everybody,
I'm not an expert in log4j, so maybe I have overlooked something. But I
didn't found anything useful in the mailing-list-archives nor in google.
I want to use SMTPAppender for logging, but I don't know how to tell
log4j how to authenticate (username and password) to the mail-server.
Adding a property username and password in the log4j.properties doesn't
work yet log4j tells me that these are unknown properties.
Maybe anybody can help me?
