Ok I found out how to do that.

Its just a component builder added to the AppenderBuilder:

ComponentBuilder rollOverStrategy = 
builder.newComponent("DefaultRolloverStrategy").addAttribute("max", 5);
...
mainLogBuilder .addComponent(rollOverStrategy)
