ADONetAppender

Hi all, I'm develloping a software in VB.NET that consumes a web service. I need to log information to a oracle8i database. I've made some research about log4net and the ADONetAppender, and it seems that only works with oracle9i. I would like to use log4net because i've some background with log4j and need to use mail appender and file appender, but i need also to log to the database 8i, so if it doesn't work, i have to leave this approach. Anyonne has the same problem/solution ? Thanks in advance EReanha
