Doug,

Currently there is no nightly build system in place. While log4net is in
apache incubation it is more difficult for us to make releases, they
need to be approved by the incubator. This is not a problem for a full
release it would be overly burdensome for 'official' nightly or regular
builds. We may be able to get a dispensation from the incubator to
publish regular builds, however we are currently discussing our
continued incubation status, which may make this a moot point.

As far as the current development plan there are no pending code updates
that I know of. There have been a number of changes since the last
release and the documentation is lagging behind. I have been trying to
update the docs, but I don't think it is anyone's favourite activity.
Once the docs are consistent with the code we will be in a good position
to make another release.

Cheers,
Nicko
