There is a general Apache policy to migrate all projects from CVS to Subversion. The Logging project is planning on migrating all our repositories in the near future. The CVS repositories will be kept for archive purposes but in read only mode. All development will have to be done in the subversion repository. Exactly when this migration will take place is still unconfirmed, but there is a discussion regarding this on the logging-general list.
