Would be great, if someone from the log4net team could give
a statement on this - I need to know, if this key is going to stay before
deciding a migration to the new release!

According to discussion at http://forum.springframework.net/showthread.php?t=470, the public key has changed from version 1.2.9 to 1.2.10.
