I am using NetLogClient (found through google) to accept UDP Appender output and display it. Not very elegant, but it does the basic job.
I have the same trouble with chainsaw. I have tried it with both UDP and Multicast receivers.. They seem to start up but don't ever acknowledge getting anything nor do they display anything. I haven't given up yet. It could be my "oops"...I am new to log4net and chainsaw.
Nicko, how do you have chainsaw setup to display info from log4net?

I couldn't get it to work. Is there some place where it's explained?
