We're using log4net (the DLL version is 1.2.1.40796) in systems that
require 24x7 reliability and haven't had any problems at all with
either the RollingFileAppender or the TraceAppender on either single-
or multi-processor servers (Windows 2003).  I've got no qualms about
using it in production, myself.
