Log::Dispatch::Syslog uses the standard unix syslog mechanism which talks to the local syslogd daemon (see "man 3 syslog". You can configure syslogd to forward messages to other hosts via /etc/syslog.conf, like this: local3.* @my.syslog.host.com That's the typical unixy way to do it. I don't see any reason why you couldn't write a Net::Syslog appender.
