If you're talking about Log4perl warnings,
I suppose that's a Screen appender, and you've configured Log4perl to
log messages of level WARN. This is unrelated to Perl's warnings, it's
a Log4perl configuration issue -- lower the level in the config file and
the warnings will be suppressed. If you post your Log4perl
configuration, I can help you with that.

Oh, I see, you're talking about Log4perl's Screen appender issuing a
Perl warning about wide characters? That's caused by log functions
writing messages including utf8 characters and if the appender isn't
configured to log in utf8, Perl issues a warning. To fix this, use
log4perl.appender.ScreenAppenderName.utf8 = 1
