I got it this time. I'm led to believe the web should be automatically
updated at some point in time now. Let's wait and see. :)

I'm still having some issues with deploying the new site docs.
Could you please go to peopele.apache.org and adjust the permissions in the
/www/logging.apache.org/log4php folder so all files (recursively) have write
permissions for the "logging" group. Currently, only the files in the root
of that folder have proper pemissions. Others mostly have 644. I'm bugging
you personally, because I see you're the owner on those files.
