---------------------------------------------------------

If I can help with this, at the pear.apache.org end, with applying and /or
testing a prepared package, please let me know.
I need justification to keep pear.apache.org going on our servers, to date, no
PHP project has released to our pear channels;
as such I'll have no choice but to re-allocate the resources elsewhere in the
near future if we dont utlilse it soon.

Thanks.

> The new pear channel needs a better format of the package:
> "Can you try repackaging the whole thing as ' Apache_log4php-2.0.0.tgz'
> including renaming any internal configurations of the package to remove
> 'incubating' etc.
> Merely renaming the tgz archive does not make Pirum happy as it complains
> of mismatched names etc."
