Resolution: Won't Fix
The facilityStr, syslogHost, port, and suffixPattern fields in
SyslogAppenderBase have public setters.
The prefixPattern and prefixLayout layout are internal to the buildLayout class.
Give the above, I don't think it makes sense to assent to your request.
