The ch.qos.logback.access.sift.SiftingAppender class gets injected with an instance of AccessEventDiscriminator [1]. This class take a FieldName which can be of of COOKIE, REQUEST_ATTRIBUTE, SESSION_ATTRIBUTE, REMOTE_ADDRESS, LOCAL_PORT and REQUEST_URI. The LAUNCH_NAME2 field name you specify in your configuration is unknown. I would also suggest that you modify the <congfiguration> element by setting the debug attribute to true, as in:  <configuration debug="true">...</configuration> Please include the output generated by logback-access with debug set to true.
