Can SyslogOutputStream.MAX_LEN be made configurable, instead of limiting it to 1024? I understand that the syslog RFC defines a maximum syslog message size of 1024 bytes, but there are syslog server implementations that can handle larger datagrams . So it would be nice to give the choice of using sending UDP datagrams to the user of logback.
