This issue is beginning to get urgent for us. Not only does it leave very large .tmp files lying around (in excess of 500mb) we have also noticed that Logback continues to write log entries into the .tmp file. We really need this fixed or we are going to be force forgo all the benefits of Logback and find an alterative.
