Per Lundberg commented on LOGBACK-1422   Re: Deadlock with logging Thanks for your feedback Ceki. It does indeed look like that, but... if so, the threads would finish at some point. If/when it happens again, I can leave it for a few minutes but I'm unfortunately quite sure that it won't finish in that time. Yes, running with something else than console output would perhaps help, but the problem is that this is for dev environments where it's very useful to run the daemon in "foreground mode", being able to Ctrl-C to shut it down etc etc. Interestingly enough, I did some changes yesterday (disabled DB logging, enabled scan("15 seconds") in logback.groovy, and I haven't seen this today.
