Since I updated to 2.1.1-1, logchecks mailed me excesssively with lines
like this:
Jun 1 11:02:09 rocket postfix/qmgr[15329]: B07CB174058: removed
This is not only bloating logs; it is also irritating because it suggests
that _undelivered_ mails have erroneously been removed from the spool.
However, comparing the message IDs showed that these mails had already
been delivered to the correct mbox. Seems only reasonable that they get
thrown out of the spool then, so there's no need to scare users.
Please, either change the wording of the log entry to something like
"$MAILID: successfully delivered and removed from spool" or, better yet,
include this rule for /etc/logcheck/ignore.d.$LEVEL:
