It is our great pleasure to announce that Professor Ivor Grattan-Guinness was awarded the prestigious Kenneth O. May Medal and Prize (www.unizar.es/ichm/mayprize.htm) for services to the History of Mathematics by the International Commission for the History of Mathematics (ICHM) on 31st July 2009, in Budapest, on the occasion of the 23rd International Congress for the History of Science. Professor Grattan-Guinness has made invaluable contributions to Taylor & Francis' History of Science journals Annals of Science (www.tandf.co.uk/journals/annals) and History and Philosophy of Logic (www.tandf.co.uk/journals/thpl) as former Editor-in-Chief for Annals and Founding Editor for HPL, current Editorial Board member and a prolific author for both titles. To celebrate his achievements, we are delighted to provide free access to his research papers published in these journals until the end of the year.
