Kenneth O. May Medal and Prize

It is our great pleasure to announce that Professor Ivor
Grattan-Guinness was awarded the prestigious Kenneth O. May Medal and
Prize (www.unizar.es/ichm/mayprize.htm) for services to the History of
Mathematics by the International Commission for the History of
Mathematics (ICHM) on 31st July 2009, in Budapest, on the occasion of
the 23rd International Congress for the History of Science.

Professor Grattan-Guinness has made invaluable contributions to Taylor
& Francis' History of Science journals Annals of Science
(www.tandf.co.uk/journals/annals) and History and Philosophy of Logic
(www.tandf.co.uk/journals/thpl) as former Editor-in-Chief for Annals
and Founding Editor for HPL, current Editorial Board member and a
prolific author for both titles.
