Prezados colegas:

como alguns de vocês devem saber, o "South-American candidate "  ao
Ackermann Award é a tese do meu ex-estudante Juan Carlos Agudelo sobre  as
relações entre  lógica  paraconsistente e computação quântica.

Gostaria de manifestar aqui (mas vou também escrever aos membros do júri)
minha indignação contra a falta de respeito do  comitê dio  Ackermann Award
em simplesmente cancelar a premiação, com base  nos  estranhos argumentos
apresentados:

1) "...this decision does not imply that the nominations this year were
weaker than in the
 past";

2) ". Most of the nominations this year were at the same level as many
 of the shortlisted nominations in the previous years";

3)  ". Yet none of them  had the additional extra quality required for the
Ackermann Award."

Ou seja: os trabalhos (pelo menos alguns deles)  estão tão bons quanto  os
premiados, mas  falta algo (?). O que falta? Falta que sejam de "gente do
bem" ou u "assuntos do bem"?

Infelizmente, tanto  quanto o Nobel, esse Ackermann Award é uma
premiaçãozioha de mentira. Talvez dêem  o prêmio ao Obama  por "computar"
tão  eficientemente  com seu  Blackberry...
