Dear All, Following the launching of the *Doctoral Programme in the Physics and Mathematics of Information: Foundations of Future Information Technologies* (DP-PMI), we are happy to announce that the call for applications<http://www.dp-pmi.org/applications.html> to the first batch of the DP-PMI Scholarships<http://www.dp-pmi.org/scholarships.html> is open until: *25 September 2013 at 17h00 (Lisbon time)*. The DP-PMI aims at providing advanced curricular and research training in the recent developments and fundamental challenges in information sciences and technologies, including their foundational physical and mathematical aspects. The DP-PMI is hosted by Instituto Superior Técnico<http://www.ist.utl.pt/en/> (IST), the School of Science and Engineering of the University of Lisbon, in Portugal, and eight associated research <http://www.dp-pmi.org/faculty.html> centres <http://www.dp-pmi.org/faculty.html>.
