PessoALL,

Selected Math Derivations For Engineers (Allan de Medeiros Martins)

"This book, as the title suggests, is a collection of Math derivations
that normally are considered difficult to grasp by the students. The
goal is to try to give detailed derivations of formulas, concepts or
theorems in order to facilitate the understanding of those subjects.
We will try to balance the formality of the Math behind the
derivations with some informal definitions and statements. This book
is not intended for Math students that seek a 100% formal derivation
of a specific topic. Instead, it is directed to students (Engineering,
Math and Science in general) that seek to understand specific concepts
used in areas like Engineering, Math, Statistics, etc and follow a
somewhat formal derivation in order to be able to go deeper to a more
formal version of those derivations. As the student understands the
concept behind the derivation we hope that he/she could look for a
more complete version of the derivation and be able to completely
understand it."
