I hope that you are as well as possible, in the context of the difficult situation that the pandemic implies. I am writing to invite you to the second edition of the "Day of Inclusive Logic" that we are organizing for the second half of July (with a date to be determined) with the Logic Supergroup <https://sites.google.com/view/logicsupergroup/the-logic-supergroup>. (There is a version of this invitation in Spanish below, but I’m afraid I couldn’t produce a version of this invitation in Portuguese) Last year, on June 10, we carried out this activity within the #ShutDownSTEM protest and reflection day. In very few words, it was a day of completely open agenda discussions about all the ways in which inequalities (gender, color, socioeconomic status, and geographic origin, among many other inequalities) impact our discipline and what are the ways in which we believe we can actively fight them. How will you see it is about the most varied questions, from something very specific like editing a Wikipedia site to really very macro questions. Our idea this year with the Logic Supergroup is, since we discontinued the weekly talks we did, to take advantage of the reach we have to different groups throughout the world in order to meet again virtually and put these topics on the agenda once again, in order to contribute everything that it is possible to fight against the different inequities. Although the very structure of the event consists of meetings where, in principle, everything can be discussed it occurred to us that it could be beneficial to give it just a little more structure this year. In particular, perhaps it would be interesting to allocate some of the day's meetings especially for the meeting of people belonging to a certain geographical unit, for example, Latin America, Africa, Asia, etc. The idea is that we can feel more comfortable sharing a space with people who surely share several of our experiences as well as being able to speak in our languages (in our case, at least Spanish and Portuguese) without necessarily having to converse in English. But of course, this is simply a possibility and not a restriction. Finally, we would like very much that some people who have institutional representation with organizations linked to the academic activity of logic (for example, the ASL and its various regional committees) could participate, so we are going to try to get them to join the conversations. These are just the ideas that we have come up with, based on what we did last year. If they had more proposals or more ideas of what can be done on this day, they would really be very welcome. Finally, although we do not yet have an exact date set for this meeting, feel free to forward this information to any colleague who seems to be interested in these activities. As soon as we have a more specific date, we will surely set up some sort of grid where people will be able to propose to coordinate a discussion meeting (for example, the meeting at 5 pm that day, at Brasilia time). Cómo verán se trata de cuestiones de lo más variadas, desde algo muy concreto como editar un sitio de Wikipedia hasta cuestiones realmente muy macro. Nuestra idea este año desde el Logic Supergroup es, ya que discontinuamos las charlas semanales que hacíamos, aprovechar la llegada que tenemos a distintos grupos a través del mundo para volver a reunirnos virtualmente y nuevamente poner en agenda estos tópicos con el fin de aportar todo lo que se pueda a luchar contra las distintas inequidades. Si bien la estructura misma del evento consiste en reuniones donde en principio todo puede ser discutido, se nos ocurrió que podría ser beneficioso darle apenas un poco más de estructura este año. En particular, quizás sería interesante destinar algunas de las reuniones del día especialmente para el encuentro de personas pertenecientes a determinada unidad geográfica, por ejemplo Latinoamérica, África, Asia etcétera. La idea es que podamos sentirnos con mayor comodidad compartiendo un espacio con gente que seguramente comparte varias de nuestras experiencias además de poder hablar en nuestros idiomas (en nuestro caso, al menos español y portugués) sin tener que forzosamente conversar en inglés. Pero, por supuesto, esto es simplemente una posibilidad y no una restricción. Por último, nos gustaría mucho que algunas personas que tienen representatividad institucional con organizaciones ligadas a la actividad académica de la lógica (por ejemplo, la ASL y sus diversos comités regionales) pudieran participar, así que vamos a intentar que se acerquen y se integren a las conversaciones. Estas son solamente las ideas que se nos han ocurrido en base a lo que hicimos el año pasado. Si acaso tuvieran más propuestas o más ideas de qué se puede hacer en esta jornada serían realmente muy bienvenidas. Para finalizar, si bien todavía no tenemos una fecha exactamente delimitada para este encuentro, sientanse libres de reenviar esta información a cualquier colega que les parezca que puede tener interés en estas actividades. En cuanto tengamos una fecha más concreta, seguramente habilitemos alguna suerte de grilla donde las personas van a poder proponerse para coordinar alguna reunión de discusión (por ejemplo, la reunión de las 5 de la tarde de ese día, a la hora de Brasilia).
