We welcome contributions addressing (but not limited to): - The role of historical reconstructions in philosophical methodology across different areas of philosophy - The diversity or homogeneity of methods used to select and interpret historical cases - The epistemic significance of historically inaccurate or highly idealized reconstructions - Tensions between historiographical practice and philosophical aims - Critical reflections on the uses of history in philosophy: exemplarity, case-based reasoning, genealogy, critique The event will be held fully online and streamed publicly via the YouTube channel of the Institute for Philosophical Research, UNAM on November 13 and 14, 2025.
