SQUARE is a unique interdisciplinary event bringing together logicians, philosophers, mathematicians, semioticians, computer scientists, artists, to explore the many facets of the Square of Opposition and its modern developments. (A) On Wednesday, June 24, the city celebrates the Fête de la Saint-Jean-Baptiste, the national holiday of Québec. This public holiday will offer a pleasant break in the middle of our event, which begins on Monday, June 22. (B) Immediately afterwards, from June 25 to July 4, Montréal hosts its world-famous International Jazz Festival, one of the largest and most vibrant music festivals in the world.
