AI is increasing becoming a part of research but transparency around its use is still catching up. At present, policies and practices for how to disclose AI use vary widely across disciplines, regions and publication cultures. To address this gap, the ISC is co-leading a global initiative working toward a shared international standard for AI disclosure. The goal is to strengthen research integrity, reproducibility and trust through clear and consistent reporting of AI use.
