Lujvo and cmene are mutually exclusive classes of words, each with its own distinctive structure. The defining characteristic of cmene is that cmene and only cmene end in a consonant. Even a cmene that appears to be a lujvo with an extra consonant on the end is only a cmene; it lost it's lujvo status when the consonant was added. While lujvo can always be decomposed into components (that's the whole point of lujvo), cmene can never be decomposed into components, although they are often (and deliberately) suggestive of such components.
