It’s actually quite complicated, since in most situations, we allow multiple tries to get the correct answer. If a student calculates the correct answer to an ill-coded problem and wrongly gets “incorrect”, he or she will likely keep on working and submit another answer. In order to begin addressing this issue, we would have to re-grade every answer the student submitted and stop if we find the first correct one. In situations like this, I just apologize and give a point to everybody. Then move on. - Gerd. _______________________________________________ LON-CAPA-users mailing list LON-CAPA-users@mail.lon-capa.org http://mail.lon-capa.org/mailman/listinfo/lon-capa-users
