I have a math faculty member with this problem created.

When a student enters their answers, the MathEditor only appears over the first
box, not the other 3 in each part.
What do we need to tweak?
It looks like a bug. The various input HTML elements have the same id:
the code in loncom/homework/response.pm has used the wrong assumption
that there would only be one text field per response...
